the problem started when I attempted to access a favorite site today from my att./Yahoo home page and it (yahoo) told me an error occurred. The site is inaccessible from IE, Google or any other search engine. Then I tried my control panel to access security and some other options. I got the runddll.32 error message. I made sure I have the latest Windows updates and my Webroot cleanup/sweep was done today. Restarted the modem, rebooted 3x, and compressed/fragmented disks. Other than that? don't know what's wrong here.1 person needs an answerI do too

This error can be caused by malware. Using Windows Explorer, try navigating to \Windows\System32, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Open. If that fails try using the program command.com. Now type assoc .exe=exefile and press Enter. You may have to restart the computer.
